About

Rayna Robins is a highly versatile artist based in Cornwall, known for her distinctive style and ability to create art that is both expressive and commercially appealing. Originally from Scotland, she moved to Cornwall in 1994 to study illustration at Falmouth School of Art and has called it home ever since.

Rayna’s creative range is wide and ever-evolving, from bold, serious oil portraits to quirky caricatures, custom fashion pieces, and vibrant illustrations. Her work is instantly recognizable for its character, colour, and personality, whether it’s a painting on canvas or a one-of-a-kind design on a pair of boots.

With a background in wearable art, Rayna has customized everything from trainers and jackets to bags and hoodies, often using unconventional materials like bleach or leather paint. She has a strong passion for upcycling and loves transforming old or everyday items into something unique and functional.

Now focusing more on painting, Rayna is especially drawn to portraiture, human and animal alike, and continues to experiment with colour, form, and emotion in her work. She also creates fan art and community-inspired pieces, particularly around musician Ren Gill, which led to her collaboration with “The Rising Tide” collective.
